Yes, this composition book has been parodied many times before.  It's been parodied by everyone from other small zines to Mad Magazine, who liked the idea so much they did it twice.  Of course, if I had bothered to notice this I would have come up with some other cover.  Originality, I learned from world renowned artist Al Hebert as he paraphrased someone more famous than he who's name I don't remember right now, is a return to the origin.  Anyway, what the hell is up with Mad these days?  Sure, they've been recycling their material forever and haven't really been fresh in a while, but have you seen a copy of Mad lately?  There's color in it and ads and shit!  Oh well.
